Dave 434
Google launched their smart assistant device today at Google io 2016. I'm torn on where to put this post. Voice assistants or under a platform since they are touting it as an automation device as well.

outjet 0
I am pretty stoked to pick up the Google Home and try to get it hooked up with a raspberry pi. @ImTheTypeOfGuy - Why are you thinking it's soon not to exist?

Just because Google frequently touts things they will bring to market and either never do or it doesn't last. This however seems they will put a lot of effort into so I don't think this will vaporize. In fact I am thinking about buying one. george balanchine 0
Anyone using it? I currently have the Amazon Alexa and actively think about trying Google Home. Would love to hear some recommendations
