2 ordered (and a buddy just ordered 2 as well)! With the one I have that will make 3.

Thanks for the heads up!

Keith

I was hoping you were paying attention...congrats on snagging a couple more. I have 2 already I use for OTA but I was really tempted to get a 3rd.

OTA is a bit sparse in my area. But I just read a comment on Newegg that Silicon Dust coming out with a product with cable card built in - HDHomeRun® PRIME™ – three tuner CableCARD™ HDHomeRun® for Windows. This looks like a product I can spring for. We have cable in the house, that isn't going away. What we don't have is something that lets me record shows. I think I'm psyched. :)

Not to get too side tracked but here is some info on the HDHomeRun Prime.

If I had cable I would be all over it (like I expect Tim Daleo to do). However, my only options are OTA or satellite. Now, if one of the satellite providers would allow a HDHR Sat version I would be in line to get one.

I just got the following notice about HDHomeRun in my email...

HDHomeRun® - PRIME™

Quick status update...

We are at CableLabs® for the final review, with release

to production in 2 weeks. Pre-order and release dates

will be announced shortly following release to production.

On the availability side we are working with major retail

partners to stock the HDHomeRun PRIME and accept pre-orders.

The price has been confirmed at $249.

Black Friday - We have been working with the good people

at Newegg for a great Black Friday deal on the original

HDHomeRun-Dual ATSC/clear QAM tuner. The sale runs Friday

November 26 continuing through to Cyber Monday.

CES - everything is in place for a great CES 2011 in

Las Vegas January 6-9 - We will be on the floor in the

South Hall 3, upper level, booth 31948.

Release to production is the key milestone for us and

we have been working hard to make it happen. We will

keep you posted.

The price is a lot steeper, but with triple tuner and the ability to get all the channels you pay for, I think it's worth it.
