KNX standard - Is it available in the US

I came across  KNX, an open standard that is apparently very popular in Europe. Hundreds of compatible products, supported by several big players (Siemens, Schneider, Philips, ABB,  ... even Lutron and control4 can interface !). The design of some of the products is stunning. Any idea about availability in the US ?

Hi there,

I currently work with such systems. They are normally professionally installed. The ETS software is not so easy to learn. KNX is powerful though, and affordable usually for professional installs. A problem is that there's not much available for AV control.

CEDIA 2015 had some KNX attendees, trying to promote the standard in the US.

There's an article from CE Pro about it: http://www.cepro.com/article/cedia_2015_knx_to_push_dominant_european_home_automation_standard_in_usa

PM me if you need any more detailed info.
