Conditional Responses for Insteon

Recommended Posts

hometechaddict

Have the Insteon hub with a variety of lighting modules.  Scenes are working well scheduled and from keypads and devices.  Using motion detectors in closets and hallways to trigger lighting.

Now I am interesting in the next step and adding some conditions to the setup.  For example, put a motion sensor in the bathroom with a condition like....  if time is between 11 PM and 6 AM, turn on light at 25% and go off after 3 minutes.

Pretty sure that I can't do this with the hub and would need something like the Indigo software or the ISY-994i.  Just wanted to see what you guys are using.  Do you think that conditions will come from Insteon later with the hub and / or with integration like HomeKit.

Thanks -- Steve
