Hi,

Here is a link to the Fibaro Home Center 2 :

Here is a link to the Fibaro Home Center Lite :

Vesternet in the UK provides a comparison chart to help make your choice between the two gateway controllers :

Kind regards,

After hearing about fibaro on the home server podcast I have looked into it. It looks like a great product. For the first time there is a system that interests me. While researching fibaro I also found homeseer. I will have to check them out as well. It looks like homeseer may have been out longer in the US. Anyone use either of these systems?

Yes we have used them both in our testing labs and in our homes and offices.

We are a DIY retailer and a dealer for both Homeseer and Fibaro, so we routinely test most of the popular hubs gateways and devices, to give our customers the best experience possible.  But we also use some of the best products in our own home and in the office.  Personally, I've used Homeseer for X-10 and Audio/Video since it came out in 1999, and in 2005 added Insteon and nowadays and for the past 4 years have been using Z-wave, all within Homeseer.  There really isn't very much it cannot do, and now they are compatible with Amazon Echo, Lutron, Philips Hue and more coming, like Zigbee.

We also have tested Fibaro HC Lite for about the past year and its another very good system, strictly for Z-wave though.  Really is one of the best Z-Wave controllers out there, and their products are the best quality zwave devices on the market as well.  But the HC Lite is not yet available here in the US, although we have been waiting for its release for over a year.

Any questions, please feel free to ask away, we have them all running, every day if you need us.
