schoondoggy 895
I have a major investment in Sonos. If I was starting over, I would have to really look at this product; http://www.forbes.com/sites/patrickmoorhead/2013/08/05/korus-wireless-speakers-give-sonos-a-run-for-its-money/
Dave 434
Forbes is doing something funky with linking in to their site? http://www.forbes.com/sites/patrickmoorhead/2013/08/05/korus-wireless-speakers-give-sonos-a-run-for-its-money/ What are the differences with Sonos? schoondoggy 895
Sonos devices setup a wireless mesh network between each other. Music sources are internet services or networked music library. Korus uses a technology called SKAA, It is a bit like Bluetooth and WiFi combined. Korus uses 'batons' attached to your devices to stream music to the Korus speaker. Bose also has a Sonos like product now.

denisercj 0
Is there a good soundbar that works with SmartThings, besides SONOS? I just built a new house, and SONOS is beyond my budget

You should look at Beep as well: https://www.thisisbeep.com/ Not sure of the current status with ST, but that is where I would start.
