Dear All,

 

which stores are supported by Windows Surface RT? The Microsoft store only?

 

I'd like to download videos in English, although I'm in Germany.

 

There's probably no store with DRM-free downloads? I would prefer to be also able to play the videos on Linux.

I doubt there is any legal source of downloadable videos that are DRM-free.

Amazon lists Xbox One. Is this format compatible with Surface RT?

Xbox one streams movies through the Windows 10 TV/movie app, along with Netflix, amazon prime and so on. Which all will work on RT

Investigate ultraviolet. I love it and I think it gives you the most options.

I have recently discovered classic movies on Dailymotion. com

Casablanca, Gone With the Wind, Tarzan are just a few of the titles.

Find your movie, copy the url, paste it in a site that captures the video and downloads it to your computer (Google it to find the site).
