Usb Hub Surface Pro 3

Someone a recommondation which USB Hub is compatible with my Surface Pro 3. I have ordered this : http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00CYWBG50?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 

And it doesnt work with my external Drive AND my sony RX100 iv camera together. But this is exactly what I need to load the photos from my camera to the external drive without temporary store it on my surface harddrive. I have read somewhere that I cant do that because every unpowered usb hub is not strong enough for both devices (HD and Camera)..... You need to identify the power requirements for your devices and then buy accordingly. I have a ten amp, sixty watt photos that I use. It also auto senses the devices and applies the correct amount of power.

You need to buy a hub with a power adapter. As ImTheTypeOfGuy states, you need to have an idea of the power requirements of the devices that are drawing power from the hub. I have had good luck with these:
