rooster24
Surface Pro 2 with windows 8.1. Upgraded to Windows 10. Want to roll back, but don't have option for "go back to version 8.1" like I should. So I guess I have to reset from Recovery Partition. I can't get booted to the recovery partition. I tried holding down Volume- while booting, but doesn't work. Any ideas?
rooster24
Can't believe all the various info I found on this pretty simple and straight-forward topic. So many articles on creating or moving a Recovery Partition or downloading one from MS and putting on USB drive. I can't seem to find the page now, but I typed Settings into the search bar and seem to recall getting into Settings and then finding Advanced Startup Settings. I think the button to click for Advanced Startup Settings was labeled "Restart". So I clicked the button, Surface restarted and booted to Advanced Startup. From there I could find my way to Factory Reset my Surface.
