Getting An Error That Says, "windows Could Not Connect To The Group Policy Client Service"

We purchased a new Surface 3 just two months ago. We've been having lots of fun with it, until this past weekend. My daughter was trying to log into her account when she got the following error message:




"Windows could not connect to the group policy client service.


Please consult your system administrator."






Now she cannot log in at all.




My wife can log in, but it takes close to an hour before it finally lets her in. (When we got the Surface I set her up as the primary user, so she's an administrator on the Surface.) What in heck in going on? Trust me this is a huge buzz kill. I certainly didn't expect this to become a paper weight just 2 months after getting it. Should I send it back and demand my money back?
