Sp3 Pen Grip

Recommended Posts

Does anyone else think that the surface pro 3 pen could use a grip?

I designed this guy and I'm toying with the idea of starting a kickstarter for it, but I want to get some feedback from other SP3 users.

I find that the grip greatly improves the ergonomics of the pen as well as the utility of the two side buttons.

maybe some artists might go for this, but I doubt the majority will

Yeah I don't have issues with the pens and I have big hands.

definately a neat idea.  I also like that it appears that you can still use the type cover to store the pen.  maybe?

Looking a the attachment to the type cover that holds the pen (which I don't use) it is just big enough to fit the pen into, so any type of grip or addition to the pen will make it not fit.

If anyone is interested in getting their hands on it now,

They will print it out and ship it to you. Or if you already have a 3-D printer, let me know and I can get you the .STL file.

I think it's a great idea. Even better (maybe) would be just a piece of circular rubber to fit snugly around the pen giving more grip while still fitting though the type cover pen loop.

That would definitely be a good option to have. I can look into designing something like that.
