jman0war 0
I have a Surface 2 and bought a USB SD Card Reader to take pictures off a couple cameras while traveling. Initially it worked fine. But now the Surface 2 won't detect the SD card whatsoever. Nothing listed in Disk Manager. I know the USB port works, I can plug various USB thumbnail drives/removable storage and they work just fine. So I've now tried 2 different USB SD Card Readers and the Surface 2 just won't pick them up at all. I know the same USB SD Card Readers work ok on my desktop pc. What can I do? schoondoggy 895
Check the compatibility center. Here is a search on USB card readers. There are a few listed as not compatible. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compatibility/CompatCenter/ProductViewerWithUpdatedFilters?TempOsid=Windows%208.1&Locale=en-us&Architecture=X64&TextSearch=usb%20card%20reader&Type=Both&CurrentPage=0&TotalPages=6&ShowCriteria=0&SortCriteria=Relevance&Compatibility=Unknown&ProductName=usb%20card%20reader&LastRequested=
