schoondoggy
Fry's also had a Dou 11 convertible. This is one of the thinnest convertibles I have seen. 11.6" 1080P screen, i5 or i7, I was really impressed with this device. http://store.sony.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=8198552921666488033#specifications
schoondoggy
I spent some more time with this device at the Microsoft store on Saturday. Performance is great and it is light enough to use as a tablet, but the slide up top feels like it is not going to last too long.
scoobyx
schoondog, I demo'ed one at the local MS store here in Atlanta back about a week ago and agree with your sentiment about the hinge. Like most Sony products, the fit and finish are really nice but I would be super worried about that sliding hinge. FWIW, according to the rep whom I spoke with, the product was available a while back and then got pulled from their stores for a while during which time, Sony "re-engineered" the hinge.
