Onscreen Keyboard Issue

Not sure if anybody else has experienced this yet, but I find that every once in awhile the onscreen keyboard refuses to show.

I will tap in a text box like the search bar in IE and nothing happens, no matter what I try the keyboard won't popup, the only fix is a restart.

I can't honestly remember of this is limited to just IE, but it has happened probably between 8 - 10 times already.

I have the problem but for me it's nearly always when I remove the physical keyboard, although re-attaching doesn't fix it and I have to reboot. It happens 99.9% of the time if I disconnect the keyboard while it's still locked. Much less if I remember to unlock before removing the keyboard.

I agree with OSQuest's asessment but I have a question. Is this only an issue for you in both the modern and desktop UI or only desktop? I have noticed that when in desktop IE the keyboard is not automatic and must be manually called up.

Yes, I often have to manually call it up.Guess I've gotten used to managing it and since it does appear I considered it more an annoying design decision rather than a problem. For me it happens for just about every desktop app, not just IE. Also can't remember the last time the keyboard auto appeared on the desktop when I tapped into a text feel. I also thought it might be self inflicted because I frequently close the keyboard myself since it covers so much of the screen.
