Sync Contacts With Outlook

Recommended Posts

flyboyco

I am using Windows 8 and Outlook 2013. My contacts (around 1,100) are just in Outlook. I do not use exchange, just a couple IMAP e-mail accounts.

We have always had iOS devices, and iCloud syncs pretty well with Outlook. It is nice to have our contacts synced between all our devices.

I have been reading and all I can find is that I need to move all my contacts to my Hotmail or Google account. Is this true, or am I missing an easier step?

I am picking up my 920 this morning, and hopefully a Surface by next weekend. My wife will still be carrying her iPad and iPhone for a while, so it would be nice to keep syncing between devices if possible.

Amazing... Tried to install, and it says I must have Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 (it doesn't recognize 2013). will not install. Sounds like they need to get it updated.

Yes the functionality is built in. When you add an account to your Windows Phone, choose Outlook and set it up. You have the ability to check what you want to sync (one of which is contacts).
