taccess 0
Hi everyone, Was wondering if anyone can confirm if i can successfully load win 10 on a : HP Proliant DL380 G7 2 x Intel Xeon 6 Cores X5680 @3.33Ghz 128GB DDR3 Memory i am on a budget and need the above system specs to continue, i realise graphics cards are not great with these but because it will be dedicate to music production i can buy 2 x riser kits and use 2 x gt-625 ( low power consumption )for my 3-4 1920x 1080 24 inch monitors. My current setup is not enough : rampage iii extreme 24gb memory 980x 6 core 240 gb ssd : when i open a large project i am constantly at 60% cpu and 60 % ram so can anyone confirm if i will be able to load all win 10 drivers ?? any help on this is appreciated , and yes i have looked at hz800 workstations which is my budget but max memory is 24gb ( NO GOOD ) . eddie563 19
dont hold me to fact but ive always worked now for a while with the understanding that server OS and desktop OS are built from the same core. win xp > win 2k3 win 7 > win 2k8 so win 10 > win svr 2k12 not all drivers are compatible of course if they check the OS Version, however, if you can get the drivers for svr 2k12 then the vast should work with win 10 what about the HP Z420 which has max capacity for 64GB ram ?? Therion Ware 0
Yes it can be done! I have one of these beasts and the way to do was to install the demo version of MS server 2012, then run the MS MediaCreationTool for Windows 10 and target a removable USB drive. Once done, plug the drive into the beast and boot off it using \f11. Then Windows 10 will install and appears to work quite well (for a given value of Microsoft...). Good Luck TW.
