dvn 15
I don't discriminate. I was blocking everything, everywhere! ha
usacomp2k3 3
Great weather today. Ate dinner outside because it was only 80 degrees. Fall is in the air!
Dave 434
80 degrees? We had our first frost last night.
usacomp2k3 3
Oh man, that sucks. Had to figure out how to turn the heater on my car on this morning. Turns out just set the temperature and it automatically switches between A/C and heater. 80F was my friend. My Infiniti is a little quirky, but I love it. Guest no-control
meanwhile...on the west coast we've had record temps in the 100-110 degree area
awraynor 98
2 years ago I replaced the transmission in my Acura CL-S (rebadged Honda) ($3600) and shortly thereafter sold it. Bought a used 2001 Honda Accord in 1-09 with only 29K miles for $6500. You know, from mom's friend who obviously never goes anywhere. What a perfect car to drive back and forth to work. Well now it appears I will have to buy another Honda transmission, at just 47K miles! Way to go Honda, so much for your reputation for reliability. Wish I hadn't bought a new Honda Odyssey 2 weeks ago.
cskenney 155
Will it make you feel any better if I share your pain. I just had the head gaskets replaced on my 2004 GMC Sierra diesel truck. $5300....it only has 85k miles.
awraynor 98
Yikes, that makes me feel a wee bit better. Wife told me, instead of an iPad for Christmas, you're getting a transmission.
mrossco 6
Got a call over the weekend from this our friend who is in her 80s. She was asking if I'd take her to the Apple store so she can get an iPad.
dvn 15
So much for the old axiom, with age comes wisdom. Kidding, of course.
