awraynor 98
It's new to me, probably not most everyone else here. I am trialing Domotz after hearing about it on the hometechfm podcast. Installed on my Note5 and QNAP NAS. It is nice looking software, still maturing, yet offering a bit above the stock app on Eero. The question is it enough extra for a fee, although it's only $3 per month. https://www.domotz.com/ A member of the Lowe's Iris forum I frequented mentioned NetXMS. It appears to offer a lot, apparently for free. Clients for many platforms. Check it out if it's new to you. Appears to still be in a love affair with Windows XP. https://www.netxms.org/

Dave 434
Interesting. PRTG has been around for ages. Used to use a variant in my ISP days. Domotz does more for sure though and has an agent for Synology and QNAP. Something sort of close is the new Synology router. https://www.synology.com/en-us/products/RT1900ac Check out the data it gives.

Dave 434
Are you guys still running a flavor of this? PRTG? Domotz? Anyone care to do a review of them?
Dave 434
Here is why i'm asking. You can now run Domotz on a Fingbox. How cool is that? There is also a Windows agent now but it simply installs a Virtual Box instance and then runs in that. Not sure about that. https://www.domotz.com/fingbox-with-domotz-pro/
ShadowPeo 81
I do have Domotz as it runs on the Synology's I have at a couple of places, not used it too much but appears to be good for smart home kinda stuff, but nowhere near powerful enough compared to things like SolarWinds (but hey thats what 10K gets you). If I get a chance I will try to run up some thoughts on it for you
