Net.Tcp Port Sharing Service disabled

Folks,

I've been struggling to debug an issue with my Windows 7 gaming rig where the connector tray icon keeps telling me that it 'cannot connect to server'. I've discovered that none of the 'Windows Server Essentials...' services will start because the NetTcpPortSharing service was Disabled. I set it back to Manual, restart the various WSE services and the connector springs back into life. However, when I restart the PC the service is disabled again and I have to repeat the rigmarole. Any clues on how I go about working out what is disabling that service?? My suspicion falls on Bitdefender, but I can find nothing in its settings that would suggest it is doing so. This seems to be a difficult thing to Google for because most of the hits seem to be either the usual 'can I disable this service' stuff or pages telling me how to enable the service.

The service should actually be set to "automatic".

Aside from that, try uninstalling BitDefender and see if that helps.
