calimero
I have a M1015 that is flashed as LSI. I thought that I would do some basic RAID mirroring. One drive installed, one in a hotswap bay. I concluded that it is easier to just copy files. in any case, whenever I boot up the server the BIOS of the M1015 let's me know that a drive is not present. I can hit space for the boot process to continue. I have not found a BISO setting in the M1015 that would automatically boot (ignore the drive check). Is this expected? Is there a workaround? schoondoggy
Is the controller flashed as IT or IR? How did you mirror the drives?
calimero
I flashed the card a long time ago. How can I tell IT vs iR?

calimero
I was looking for IT or IR during boot, couldn't see it. I went into the BIOS. My FE is 2.120.144-1325

calimero
I don't recall my RAID setup, did it over 3 years ago. Meanwhile I "deleted" the drive setup in the controller. It appears that my card is now working without the prompt. I can insert and remove the drive. I still need to check a couple of cycles and combinations.
