Enforce data quota per user - Gargoyle? Sophos?

Hello,

We are banging up against comcast's 300GB limit with too much regularity, so I am looking for a way to automate data cap enforcement for my sons.  I can monitor their usage and then shut them down using my current Asus router, but I am looking for something that will handle this automagically.

The only thing I have found that seems to handle this is the Gargoyle router firmware, but it seems limited to a small variety of old slow routers.  Anyone here have any experience with Gargoyle?

Anyone know if the new sophos free edition can manage this?

You would think this would be a common feature in mainstream routers...

Thanks in advance.
