G. WadeTech
I have been beta testing and playing around with add-in ideas lately and I found myself thinking about what it would take to (or if it is even possible) to take the web enhancements that come with the home page of v2 (VAIL) and port them over to v1. I have not had a lot of time to look into this idea and I thought this would be a great idea to submit to the community to discuss. My knee jerk reaction to this thought is that 'YES' it would work. After upgrading some background applications/services you could copy over the correct data files and do some HTML cleanup/redirects and you essentially would be up and running. What does the community think?
diehard
this is a nice idea. It does involve Silverlight and that can be installed on version 1. Then you need to find the web apps in version v2, they are in the c:\program files\windows server\bin\webapps folder. but it does require some work.here is something to get you going http://forums.silverlight.net/forums/p/6988/21716.aspx
G. WadeTech
Is anyone aware of any licensing issues regarding this idea?
