Trig0r
https://www.ubnt.com/airmax/nanostationm/Just picked up a pair of these for a CCTV system, the fact that you can pass-thru the PoE to the secondary socket put them on the radar. Have already set them up in my office, installing them tomorrow, will update once I'm done

I would be interested in how the project turns out, Are you going to power the cam with PoE?
Trig0r
Yup thats the idea, one wired into the LAN, the other will just have power to the injector, a cable to the Nano, then a cable into the cam from the secondary port..

Sounds great! I may have something coming up that this device may fit the bill, If you can take some pictures of the completed project and post them here. Good luck... LoneWolf
We have used them for short distance Point-to-Point with clients; they work fairly well in this role without costing an arm and a leg.
Trig0r
Managed to get these in last week, easy to setup, not bank breaking, probably about 120/130m 98% signal strength. Not where I wanted to mount them, one is sat half obscured by a bush which will obviously grow but its by a perimeter wall so I wanted to keep it low so it wasn't visible/accessible. AP01 Mounted to the garage wall https://www.dropbox.com/s/3u7reetaxd7yuoa/AP01.jpg?dl=0 View to AP02 https://www.dropbox.com/s/5yacvxt7sftlc4h/View%20from%20AP01.jpg?dl=0 AP02, Rough ass mounting for now, I've done the setup though. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5yacvxt7sftlc4h/View%20from%20AP01.jpg?dl=0 Power for AP02 and the Gatecam will be coming from here, the camera requires too much power for the PoE passthru on the AP to handle. https://www.dropbox.com/s/b433c2i1mqtkzh8/AP02%20Power.jpg?dl=0 GateCam Pole, HD PTZ Dome going at the top here. https://www.dropbox.com/s/mjzx5rn031vek7f/GateCam.jpg?dl=0 View from AP02 to AP01, you can see the top of the bush here as well at the ones in the middle of the garden, by the pool, theres also a tree which will probably drop a bit as it grows, gardener is aware that he needs to keep his bush trimmed https://www.dropbox.com/s/mjzx5rn031vek7f/GateCam.jpg?dl=0 SSID is hidden, the AP's are MAC locked to each other, its a low traffic area with no other Wifi networks visible other than up by the house so should be safe enough, its a closed network through with just the CCTV on it so not much for anyone to see.. Trig0r
Just as an update for this, as I was impressed with the M2's I've just fitted a pair of M5's somewhere else, line of sight is a lot better but range is probably about 1.6Km, preconfigured the units before they went out, engineers gave them power and stuck them to a pair of poles and then just used the signal LED's on the back to line them up and off they go...
