Hi everyone,

Not sure I'm on the right thread

I'm struggling with my DL320e gen8 because I cannot see my eth0 in the IPL sequence in the BIOS (this despite that I've enabled it and have done a reset as described in the documentation).

Does someone has an idea?

Hi,

For the model HP Proliant DL320e server, Boot Mode is set to UEFI Mode. Just follow the instructions

From the System Utility screen, select System Configuration→BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU)→Network Options→Network Boot Options→IPv6 DHCP Unique Identifier and press Enter.

Select a setting and press Enter. • Auto (default)—Sets the DUID using the Universal Unique Identifier (UUID) of the server or, if the server is not available, the Link-Layer Address Plus Time (DUID-LLT) method • DUID-LLT—Sets the DUID using the Link-Layer Address Plus Time (DUID-LLT) method.

Press F10. Network Boot Retry Support Use this option to enable or disable the network boot retry function. By default, the system BIOS attempts to boot the network device, such as a PXE device, up to 20 times before attempting to boot the next Initial Program Load (IPL) device.
