ESXi 5.5 - Power Management Technology

I've purchased a few months ago a Gen8 mircoserver and upgraded this with a Xeon processor. The goal is to run a energy efficient home server with ESXi and a few VM's.

After going trough the settings of the BIOS and EXSi i'm having trouble to get Intel's SpeedStep Technology working.

I've changed the Power Regulator to OS Control Mode in the BIOS and did a reboot. I've expected to see Intel Speedstep Technology with the power management settings within ESXi, but it shows ACPI P-states, C-states.

Can I check if the CPU is throttling or can i get SpeedStep to work?

Change the Active Policy to whatever you want. Plug the Microserver into a Watt-meter and you will see the difference in power consumption between the different settings.
