As much as they make me feel stupid every minute I listen, the BYOB guys

are doing a great job. It never ceases to amaze me that they just rattle

this information off without hesitation. Either way, both Mike's seem fond

of Everest for system monitoring. It is half-off on Wednesday over at

bitsdujour.com if you are interested. Thinking about picking up a copy myself?

Thanks for the comment, we might make it sound good but that is becuase of all the screw ups we have had. Everast is a great utility and is universal however keep one thing in mind, that cost is annual as it is a subscription. If you just need temps, look at the free alternative. If you want a full featured utility, give it a shot. I always hate it when the bill comes in but I always get it and end up using it for various projects along the way. Thanks again.

I really mean it when I say I like the podcast. To have just a few episodes under the belt, you guys really compliment each

other well and have a relaxed style which I like. In reference to the maintenance fee, their website makes it impossible to find.

I searched and came up with it being 50% of the full license cost, if that is correct? I would think around 25% would be more

reasonable for maintenance updates, but I guess that is their business model.

Going to use Everest to get some details on my hackintosh build and post some questions for you. The temp runs around 43C,

but it is just simply louder than I would like. I believe it is an Antec 500 midtower with Q9550 and stock cooler.

Post more when I get my facts straight.

Anyone have an opinion of SiSoft Sandra as compared to Everest. It has a 5 user pack which is much

more affordable than the single user Everest package.
