Hello guys, looking for womething I don't remember now i ended up in this page:

http://h20564.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c03800702&sp4ts.oid=392031

Heatsink

Take a look at the "item 14" Heatsink for processors with a TDP higher than 35 W

Does anyone has an idea of this part's number or model? how to get it? Looks really interesting... I've made my searches but haven't found info about it yet.

Thanks for reading!

OK... my bad... didn't read the whole table because of the excitement..

Part No: 832667-001

Part Description: Heatsink 65W - For use with ProLiant Microserver

So.. anyone used it? With this one, those Xeon's with high TDP shouldn't be a problem...., so no necessity for adding extra fans...I guess.

EDIT: It's mentioned in this forums by GotNoTime http://homeservershow.com/forums/index.php?/topic/6596-hp-microserver-gen8-processor-faq/?p=106637

Now.. the question..will this Heatsink be compatible with a proliant that came with the standard heatsink? Could there be any component in the way?

Yes. Good luck actually finding the heatsink though. Nobody seems to have it as a spare.

No. The motherboard is exactly the same.
