I too tried to buy one @ that price.

 

Wasnt surprised it got cancelled the next day.

added the old enclosure with 16TB of drives via USB 3.0

 

I must be done now im out of drive letters :unsure:

i see you have a lot of drives connected to usb-port. in one of your post you are talking about connecting drive to internal usb. do you mean the internal usb-port next to 5th sata-port? or is there some kind of internal usb-headers (kind of usb-pins like fan connection pins) on the motherboard?

Just added 2x10TB Drives so updated my list as both servers currently stand

i have removed the marvell 9230's now and have LSI 9207-4i4e in both these do make the gen8 fan spin slightly more

but are 100% for 24/7 use with no error log or spindown issues and ofc have 8 true ports
