Has anyone read the book that Terry Walsh (from We Got Served) wrote about how to create a server like PC using Windows 10 pro??? I was curious whether it was worth getting and reading???

I bought the book and would recommend it 100%.

Has 978 pages. The Chapter on Windows 10 alone is worth the money. Has chapters on StorageSpaces, DrivePool, OneDrive, Raid, setting up a Media Server and much more.

The examples are based on an ASUS motherboard and if you have ASUS then the section on BIOS is very helpful.

I've purchased that one and nearly every other one he has ever written. They can be a bit long at times,

but have really enjoyed the 2011 versions with all the add ons. The Win 10 book was equally good

and given he frequently has sales, they are quite a bargain.

Depends on your level of experience.  For me personally, they're not worth it.

But for a majority of enthusiasts, they're absolutely worth it buying.

Oh Drashna. Youre' a server guru and certainly don't need it, simple folk such as myself need a bit of hand holding.

Yeah, but I didn't get there easily. Lots and lots of trial and error.

I'm apparently stuck in the more error than trial phase, but I'll get there. Seems I have less and less

time to play around than ever before. I just need it to work. But if I get stuck I've got experts like you

to call upon.
