hlpoob
I have a single ethernet port left on the router and i want to run the server headless. So i can either run the port to the iLo or the NIC and since a server is useless wihtout NIC... Is it possible to use the connected NIC as a iLo? Are there significant drawbacks? thanks for any help
sal
From the iLO page you can setup the iLO to share the NIC, no drawbacks that i'm aware of.

sal
It's displayed during the boot process. If you are running Windows it's also displayed in the Management home page
