How do I monitor network traffic on my Netgear Nighthawk?

Recommended Posts

I've got a Netgear Nighthawk router (R7000). Recently I had an upgrade done to our Internet connectivity with CenturyLink. Its better. However I'd like to now monitor our Internet traffic, to see whose using it most, etc. The Nighthawk has 2 USB ports, which I'm guessing I could plug a USB drive into and write logs to. At least that's how I'm guessing it could be done. My question is how do I go about getting this started?

No worries, it is a good question. Many routers don't give you the features that the NightHawks do.
