Finally! I've moved homeservershow.com, the forums, and the podcast off of Godaddy hosting. We can now stretch our legs with our shiny new Virtual Private Server. Myself and a few other readers have tested most of the site so it should be good for the most part. Thanks to diehard, pcdoc, and no-control.
Also, I need to thank Alex Kuretz of MediaSmartServer.net for his help. I bounced a few things off of Alex and he gave me some ideas.
I'm not completely done yet though. I'm going to change the comment system on the blog so if you want to leave a comment you won't have to bother with logging in. The forums login will remain the same. I also have some back-end database work and cleanup to do. Speaking of forums, the next step is to upgrade it! I'll get working on that as soon as this move dies down a little bit.
This post about the move is more of a test than a notification. Hopefully it will hit the feed correctly. Another big test will be to publish a podcast from the new server. Hopefully that will go smoothly as well.
I have a Move post in the forums for you to discuss everything. If you see something funny let me know. The contact form is down by the way. I'm looking for a better solution that doesn't hog resources and RAM as much as the old one did. Related posts are gone from the bottom of each post and the sidebar on the right is missing a few ads. That's all I can think of that's visual. Most of it is behind the scenes.
Another big thank you goes out to all the folks that donated. The VPS is not cheap and you guys made it happen. Click the Donate button to see the list of awesome individuals that have helped pay for this adventure. I can't thank you guys enough. I will include all who donated on some forums decisions in the very near future. You will be able to shape the new forum board since I now consider you an honorary "shareholder" of homeservershow.com.

Update: Seems the thumbnail script is not working. Front page will have a broken image.
