I've used Splashtop's remote access software for a couple of years and have found it to be a great solution especially if you have a mixed environment of PC's, Macs, and mobile devices. Today, Splashtop has released their remote access client on Windows Phone 8, and it's free until August 31st.
Splashtop has teamed up with Nokia and Microsoft to provide the app for free. You will also need to download a free streamer app for your PC or Mac in order to take control of them from your phone. If you want to take control of your computers from the Internet you can purchase the Anywhere Access Pack for $1.99 a month or $16.99 annually.
I've snapped these shots below of my setup. Here is what I saw immediately after launching the app and signing in. I have Splashtop on everything I can physically install it on.
Here is a shot of my Windows Home Server 2011 right off of my Nokia Lumia 928. Go get this app now!
