Figure 1 -- Lian-Li PC-A70F with GA-Z77X-UD5H and RocketRAID 2720 installed that was used in this test
Recently I upgrade my Testing Server that had been introduced in A Server Build With A GA-Z77X-UD5H In A Lian-Li PC-K9WX (see the references below for subsequent mods) to a Lian-Li PC-A70F case. The additional space of the Lian-Li PC-A70F allowed me to install Four Seagate ST3000DM001’s that I could create a RAID10 storage array with my HighPoint RocketRAID 2720 and free up one of my HP ProLiant N40L MicroServer’s that I had been using as a Storage Server.
The following video follows my creation of a RAID10 with a HighPoint RocketRAID 2720 on the Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H and then test the Performance of the RAID10 made up of Four Seagate ST3000DM001’s:
