The Home Server Show 96

In today’s episode we take questions and comments from the twitter feed and talk about power issues.  I recently experienced a power outage for 10 hours and we will talk about that, battery backups, software, and what to do and what not to do when you lose power.  We also go over the news, forums, and Chris and Jim’s recent home server builds.  Lots to talk about in episode 96.

Great show but your website has some bugs and the contact form is missing?

Also the Grid Junction link above does not work. http://www.kentdome.com/gridjunction

Hey guys, Action Pack / Technet subscriptions must be current to use the software its in the EULA. You have to pay to play. Check out Eric Ligman’s blog http://blogs.msdn.com/b/mssmallbiz/

Has anyone looked into Livy Sync? I tried to install it on my HP MSS, but received a message that it isn't a valid Win32 application. The Microsoft site indicates it isn't compatible with XP.

I've used Live Mesh for remote access with more success than WHS Remote Access. I may need to explore Logmein free as an alternative.
