You're both absolutely right, these are a pain to install manually for some and "One Click" installs are so much easier so I'm glad you liked them. It's been my ethos for a while to try and keep the server as simple as possible, whilst some of us are happy to tinker with servers I'm concious this platform is aimed at a much wider audience. As Alex says; i've been looking at Gallery and Wordpress and I'll be releasing something on one of these really soon. The PHP and MySQL Add-in's may be more technical behind the scenes but the fact that they have been made into an easily installed Add-In is the real point to dwell on. Nigel is opening many new doors for WHS and I think it's awesome. I guess you heard us discussing WordPress and Gallery2? That would be my wishlist as well as a way to sync a MySQL database between two servers. I've seen SQLyog Enterprise but never tested it. Remember MSWHS.com going down for a few days? If you had an exact duplicate of your wordpress on a backup server you could make a DNS change to the backup until you could work out the issues on your main server. There are other issues to overcome and it might not serve big sites or be as zippy as others but at least you would have a means to communicate via the site. BDBB is a good add-in and I only wish I was running it when I had a hard drive failure in my WHS. Only natural to choose it as Add-In of the Week.
