bsieve, I took your cue and gave zune a try on my MediaSmart Server. Downloaded Zune http://www.zune.net/en-us/products/software/downl... and installed Orca http://www.technipages.com/wp-content/uploads/200...

I extracted zunesetuppkg-x86 to a shared folder. RDC into the shared folder. Then opened the zunesetuppkg-x86 and right clicked on ZuneSetup, changed Properties, select Compatibility to run as XP. Make sure the file is Unlocked. Then open the packages folder. Use Orca to open Zune-x86 and find the LaunchConditions. Delete the conditions, save the file, run Zune-x86.

Should work, I got it going. If your having problems, let me know.

you all have spoke about trying to get itunes on the server but I have been looking for an easy way to get the zune software running on the server. I have looked before but with the new software version I think I will dive more into this. With the wireless sync option of the zune this seems like a no brainer to do. Have it running on the on the server which is always running and then simply sync every time I plug it into charge.

I do not have a hd yet but with the hd cradle charging I see myself relying on this even more.

Any suggestions on where to start?
