Dave - regarding Bookmark/Favorite sync you should really look at http://delicious.com/ and then install the browser plugins. In the browser you simply hit ctrl+b to bring up a sidepanel with your bookmarks. You can search by tag and use the delicious buttons to add additional sites to your account. I use delicious on all my machines.

Album art for music. This is a tricky issue. You can embed cover to mp3, remember to do it as 'front cover' for best compability with various devices. Add folder.jpg to album folders. For Vista Media Center use http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/post/196728.aspx UrlToCoverArt.dat to point to the jpg to use as album art for each album.

For iTunes check out iTSfv at http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?s=a30a9175f41a07045cf39d3c2472cce4&showtopic=51708&st=0 this can add/remove tracks, fix common errors, generate back cover art files like artwork.jpg, extract iTunes art to folder.jpg etc.

Finally for VMC watch out for WMP as it will reduce the folder.jpg size to 200x200px. to avoid this only add a readonly music share to WMP, that way WMP will not be able to mess with your album art files.

jFortais: fucntionality like that would either be very complicated, or not instantaneous. I do believe that it has been suggested before on connect, but best bet would be to file a new suggestion on Connect. Namely because this would be best for integration on a base level of WHS.

This is not really a comment about this episode ..I know its too late for the contest but after listening to your show I started thinking about ideas.... I don't know if its feasible but I'm just thinking about going to a baremetal vmware install for my home machines and being able to boot whatever image i want, when i want. If whs could manage serving up the images and the various snapshots - that would be ideal.

Definitely agree with allen. It is definitely more interesting with both of you chatting. Interesting topics come up that wouldn't normally.

And you're idea isn't lame. It's a very good idea. I'm obsessive about my music tags too. :)

Oh, I've been considering working on a custom version of the MSS restore image, including stuff like php and mysql installed by default. I know php is one of the most complicated "installs" for WHS. (Oh and thanks for reminding me, need to finish that tutorial)

FoxMarks (now known as Xmarks) can do that. I have my server set up to do that. You can use WebFolders4WHS to do that. Just go enable "Use own server" option, and point the URL to the webFolders url. Oh, you'd have to add ".json" to the mime types for IIS. Oh, I swear I'm not your personally IT guy, dave. :P
