It’s finally here! We wrapped up episode 100 and had a great time doing it. If you are on the twitter wire you know that we did it live on ustream as well. In 100 we go over a little bit of news but mainly focus on our last episodes, say goodbye to Chris, and spend a good deal of time talking about some free swag and gear for the community. That’s you! Stay tuned to the blog for more details. Also, there is a good 5 minutes of the best out-takes at the end. Don’t miss this episode!
A big thanks goes out to Icy Dock for sponsoring show 100 as well as all the other vendors and authors who have made their gear and software available to us as a give away or via coupon code. Again, stay tuned to the blog for the rest of the details on those. I will detail each and every vendor and author for your benefit as well as theirs.
Update: I have uploaded a new version of this episode as of 8:50 CST. I somehow mixed it and left out the audio from the guys that recorded messages to me. My apologies.

Congratulations to Dave and the Home Server Show team on a great 100 episodes!
Purchased my HP Mediasmart Server EX475 in Dec. 2008. After a web search found The Home Server Show podcast around episode 28 and never looked back.
Always great information and tips, can't wait for the next 100.
Congratulations again!
I just took the show 100 along on my morning walk.
Your favorite phrase is 'keeps me honest' ok how's this
Show 100 was utter crap. Totally content free. Not a single thing I would consider useful.
Why call it 'home server' show when it's just some guys sitting round saying 'well done, ah thanks, you did well, oh no it's was all you. Oh no no at all but thanks to you guys. On and on and ON and ON and ON
If you having no content for goodness sake don's foist one hour of self congratulatory rubbish on people who are hoping for something calledc CONTENT!
If i were your sponsor I'd ask for my money back.
[...] Show‘ celebrates its 100th show. If you look back at when it all started and where they are now… you can only call that fantastic & well [...]
I think 100 was a great celebration show and want your sponsors like Icy Dock to know that they are gaining customers because of there involvement with this podcast. I work for a MS Gold Partner supporting businesses and I recommend the Icy Dock solutions when they fit a customers needs. Thanks guys.

[...] Icy Dock is participating in the 100th episode give-away and I thought I would show you the items they have given me to give to you! If you haven’t heard episode 100 then stop and go listen! [...]

stevejbellamy – I guess you could look at it this way… you’re getting what you’re paying for. You’re paying nothing, so any value you get above nothing is “gravy”. It amazes me how people will criticize others trying to help the community… especially when they’re doing it for FREE.
For my two cents, one show every two years that’s primarily reflection and self-congratulations is a very low price to pay for the other 99 fantastic shows. I thought 100 was a good show for that matter.
Just my two cents.
