January Update available to Windows Home Server users

Today at the Microsoft Windows Home Server Team blog it was announced that there is a small January update that has been released.  The Knowledge Base article (#958926) for this update will be posted shortly at this link.

Don’t get too excited it’s a maintenance update but it could be a welcome update for anyone experiencing the following:

The update improves the capability of Windows Home Server to repair abnormalities detected in the home computer backup database.   The update should be automatically downloaded and installed on your home server over the next several days, if you have Windows Update turned on.  You can check if you have Windows Update turned on, by opening the Windows Home Server ConsoleSettingsGeneral page.

If you would like to see the WHS Team post it can be found here.
