Is your backup data safe on optical media?
I saw this article on Ed Bott’s blog this morning. How many of you have data backed up on a disc of some sorts? Geez, I have CD-R’s, DVD-R’s. I have tons of archived data that I should probably take a look at. Most would not be a great loss but this is an eye opener indeed.
I’m also starting to rotate older hard drives out of my storage solution and use them to archive photos, videos, etc.
