Before WHS the only option for Small Business (according to Microsoft) was Small Business Server. I have found that the Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) industry has been missed until now. WHS is the perfect fit for these organizations. I currently have many WHS running in SOHO environments. Trying to install SBS in a shop as small as 6 people or less was too costly and did not make sense and trying to run a PC as a server is just dumb. WHS gives SOHO's remote access to PC's and files. The ability to have PC backups and centralized storage. It is a perfect fit and SOHO business owners just love WHS (once they get past the name of course). HP obviously gets this which is why the X510 and X310.

WHS is even a great option to parallel SBS installations. I have heard many guys talking about including WHS with SBS just too backup PC's. From what I have been hearing WHS is not selling greatly to the home market but is selling like crazy to the small business market.

I am part of CINPA (http://cinpa.squarespace.com/) in the Cincinnati Area and we have several meeting groups. I have been thinking about doing a WHS/Media Center group but holding it quarterly. So yeah I would be interested in one in the Cincinnati Area.
