The performance advantages on the data sheet relate to load balancing in multi-processor systems. Although, interupt moderation could offload the CPU.

I guess my question was to see if anyone has expirience with quad port NICs running PFsense, Untangle or Sophos UTM.

Not sure about UTM use but 2012 essentials loves the PT models , I use 3 PT models that are duals also have 1 ET model dual that has greater VM support ( have them all teamed   )

On you domain controller. Follow these steps:

1. Click Start, point to Programs - Administrative Tools - Active Directory Users and Computers.

2. Click the Users folder, right-click the user account that you want, click Properties, and then click Member of tab.

3. If the Guests or Domain Guests group is in the Member of list, please Remove it.

4. Click Ok and exit the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in.

That's ok no rush, really just a why not, kind of thing.  what's really nice is DirectAccess  oh so cool

OK made an OU with  WSUS GPO, still when I go into WSUS  Update Services then under All Computers and do a search it results in no PC's found.  

Have you set up a GPO to actually use WSUS?

I confirmed that there was a GPO but didn't touch it.  thanks for the link
