Hi everyone, I'm Paul from sunny Vista, California. I have been a mild PC enthusiast for over twenty years. With the ever increasing household demands for media, data and a way to back it up, I stumbled across Windows Home Server 2011 and loaded it on my old Vista PC build (Gigabyte P35 S3DL 1.1, 4 gb Patriot RAM, Intel E6550 Core2Duo, dual 500 GB Seagate drives.) It lasted a week before the motherboard failed but I was able to get iHomeServer up and running and was very pleased with it. I am currently planning a new build and wiring the house for ethernet. These forums are awesome and I can't get enough of both the HSS and BYOB podcasts. You guys are very informative!
