It does say the offer is "limited" to five licenses per customer per promotion. That's pretty generous if you ask me.

@ikon I wasn't disagreeing with what you said and totally agree that you need to spec. the server out appropriately.  I was just saying that I would not go with a white box and would also pay close attention to the service level of any warranty.

I definitely agree with no-control here.  I would not white box this and get a good Dell or HP server with a good warranty. What level of warranty (same business day, next business day, etc.) will depend on how long your dad's practice can operate with downtime procedures in case of an outage.

Also, I've worked in healthcare IT for over 12 years and one of the first things I learned is that you can't trust a vendor (referring the the software vendor in this case). :-)

So definitely ask ChiroTouch about their thoughts on HIPAA but you'll want to rely on someone who's job involves maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Just my 2 cents.
