Anyone used MonStor DE replacement?

It is sold by Tranquil PC.

It looks to be created by Division-M. So why the 2 options? Drive Bender and MonStor?

I may buy and test. If I do I'll write up a review of my experience. Just wondering if any had heard of it, or used it...

How to buy WSS 2008 R2 Essentials

I know it's OEM only, but I am unable to find a Microsoft partner that has it. I'm a microsoft partner, but not an OEM partner.

I've called 5 OEM's and they all say "that's been discontinued". But they refer to WSS 2008 R2 (not essentials). Sigh.

WD is even selling their Sentinal DX4000 with it installed, so it's not going away anytime soon.

Anyone have any ideas?

Universal restore?

I know that a bare metal ie. new disk restore is pretty easy. But what if I got a totally new motherboard? Or another machine altogether?

Has anyone tried this? i suppose it would be like taking my OS disk form one machine and slapping it in a different machine and booting...

How does Acronis do it?
