ADMIN EDIT: This discussion started in the thread http://homeserversho...r-rumors/page-0 and was split off into it's own topic when it diverted from the original topic about HP G8 Microserver rumors.

I didn't know they had that product. Okay, now that is a server. But given it is HP, I would never buy it. I guess I will just have to keep building them myself.

Today I noticed that even though the "view new content" button shows that there is no new content (pic 1) when I navigate to the forums button, it shows a lot of them have new content (pic 2). Anyone else seeing this behavior?

Now to get even more interesting. When I go into the forum showing new content there will be many posts with new content (pic 3) but when after reviewing a thread and I go back to the forum all the other posts now show as no new content. Strange stuff going on.

Crappy Apps You Use

Just listened to BYOB Episode 100 today and had a lot of things I agreed with and a lot I didn't. But I write because Jim mentioned he uses Paint and I couldn't help but laugh. Not it made me think we needed a post where we all list the embarrassing or way out of date or crappy apps we use.

The best I have is probably iTunes. Luckily I haves managed to stay pretty current.

A guy I work with uses lotus 123 though.

1156 Socket

My HTPC (see signature) has an 1156 socket. I was thinking about upgrading it to an i7 but can't find this socket sold on newegg. Is it no longer available?
