About Me

Currently a Systems Manager for a metals mfg company.  Have been in IT for 15 years and working with computers for 30 years.  At work I were way to many hats being the PBX admin, Backup admin, AS400 Sysopr, SAN Admin, Linux Admin, eDiscovery Specialist, App Server Admin and the Help Desk Supervisor as well as the backup for AD, Exchange and SAP Basis.
My first home server was a Win95 using Sanbar for web as well a Software NAT to handling dialing out to the internet for my 2 other PC and priter sharing.  Once the first Linksys Routers came out that moved to Web/Print server as well as hosting a ventrillo server.

Currently my WHS2 server host sharepoint, Camera DVR, websites, movies for Verizon STBs and connects 6 Windows boxes (2 laptops, 4 Desktops), 1 Dell running OSX (or MacDell), an Openfiler NAS, an ESXi box and  plus still my Commodore 64 (with a Lantronix serial to Ether convertor) and Amiga 3000.  (Yes i run the latest and greatest along with the oldest side by side)
