In Topic: Methods of ripping DVD and Blu-Ray

All discs : Rip main movie only (folder structure) using DVDFAB on main PC ripping to WHS shared folder. DVDFAB seems to struggle with some discs so use AnyDVD to rip the whole movie in these instances. Then add to MM manually (don't trust it to do it automatically using the WHS add-in).

Playback using Windows Media Center with MM/TMT5 add-ins on HTPC.

Good explanation, thanks. So is the DC a single point of failure? If that's not working are the various PCs around the house accessible and usable for trouble shooting the DC problem (obviously the data on the server isn't available)? I assume they are and you'd log onto them using a local domain\username and have access to any local information and the web?
