Doc - are you talking about the native photo app in Windows 8? Why wouldn't you use Photo Gallery for photo management?

C'mon, honestly, do try to keep up!
Oh, and SkyDrive is useless for photo viewing. It still doesn't expose metadata Tags/Keywords, and you can't filter on them either...

Has anyone come across upgrade issues? I was trying to upgrade a one year old Windows 7 (64 bit) Ultimate desktop to Win 8. All I get is Windows 8 Installation Failed. No errors in event log or anywhere. Ran in diagnostic mode and got the same result. Unless someone tells me something different, I guess I will be starting from scratch.
Seems like I remember that an upgrade was a bad choice and since these are radically different OS's, I'd clean install.
If people are complaining that the supplied apps can't do certain things, perhaps MS has missed the target audience for these apps. Perhaps MS needs to re-evaluate the purpose of the apps and reconfigure them.
